Modern Warfare 2 gets PC update; Xbox 360 & PS3 patch 'in test'

A patch for the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 is now available for download from Steam, which nips the negative XP and "running man" issues in the bud. PC gamers should find the game more or less back to normal, but there are still plenty of problems for console gamers,

Bowling told us via this blog a console patch is "currently in test for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions." Unfortunately, he didn't have any word as to when the patch would go live for Xbox 360 and PS3 users.

THEY HAVE PATCHED GAMERTAG MOD I WENT ON IT JUST NOW AND IT CAME UP WITH SERVER IS A DIFEERENT VERSION: 1.3

this is what i heard is being patched, elevators, wall breaches, care package increasing your speed, 1887 bling with akimbo fmj, and all infected lobbies

@tallestwookie yep thats right now matter what they will still work but they will try and stop it from getting in ranked unlimited ammo was the only mod they could just remove from the game if they try and patch the xp hack they will fail as we will just bypass it in hours they need to do a server side fix

Oh well, we knew it would all get patched eventually, has taken them ages. And so much for their live patching system lol, IW fail on so many levels
