Black Ops 2 Uprising maps are free for Xbox, double XP weekend

Ahead of the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's next DLC pack on PC and PS3 this coming week, Treyarch is offering double XP in online matches this weekend on all consoles. What's more, Xbox 360 players will have access to a free trial of the game's Uprising DLC for the weekend.

Uprising offers players four maps: Magma, Encore, Vertigo and Studio, as well as the Mob of the Dead zombies map set in Alcatraz. The DLC first launched in April for Xbox 360, later arriving in May for PS3 and PC, and is normally priced at $14.99.

I know right I stopped playing that game like 9 months ago.


There a millions of people still playing COD, lol.
There always will be.

There are more players that don't even know you can watch COD on youtube than people that get on forums about it, etc.

I love it when they make DLC free. Gives people with not that much disposable income in on the action.

I agree, the online maps are pretty boring and I get killed by overpowered weapons all the time, I love the campaign and zombies though.


I loved the campaign, the multiplayer was good for a few days but got really repetitive.
I usually only get COD for gamerscore if I end up getting it.


Same, I love doing the achievements/trophy's for Zombies, they are extremely fun.

TheOnlyDeagle How many people are on BO2 since GTA came out? Couple 100? If it is any higher than that and there is something wrong with the industry.


I know for a fact a lot of people left BO2 for GTA V, and I don't blame them. I left BO2 a while ago and will probably never make a return to it, got bored with it after the first 2 months and I hardly played it.


Same here, the only reason I get on Black Ops 2 is to play Zombies every once in a while.


I only got BO2 for the Zombies, wanted to see where the story left off. Then I hoped over to campaign for some achievements, after that played some multiplayer and lost interest in it after a little bit.


Me too, got the majority of the trophies, love playing zombies I think they did well in the Zombies I am looking forward to play Origins, but at this moment in time I am more interested in seeing GTA Online.
