Xbox One “play the way you want to,” according to infographic

4.8
Microsoft has posted a inforgraphic along with a fact list, showing how you can still swap discs with Xbox One, and how the system allows you to download a game and play it on any other Xbox One console.

All of this information has been posted before, but at least the company put it in an organized list for you. It’s below. Xbox One is out November 22.

You can buy your games on disc, or download them. Your downloadable games will be available to you on any Xbox One.

You can trade, rent, sell, gift or loan any game disc. It works just like it does today for Xbox 360.

You can purchase a game digitally and start playing while it downloads.

You can play games online or offline – it’s up to you.

You can check your favorite team’s score on Live TV, answer a call with Skype or go to grab snacks while in the midst of battle. With Xbox One – you can suspend and resume gameplay instantly.

You can sign in to any Xbox One and instantly access your personal profile, downloadable games, preferences and favorites.

With Home Gold, anyone in your family can access top Xbox Live Gold benefits on your Xbox One, such as multi-player and entertainment apps.

So many new things
can't wait

Lia I like that they give you options and they aren't forcing you to do it just one way.

Same, they are improving their console alot, I hope they get the amount of sales they deserve.

They made so many adjustments, it's like a new console again.

A fair chunk of this is what the Xbox 360 and previous consoles could do. The new things i see in there are the ability to play games while downloading, sharing gold with your family and instant pausing of any title

Your Choice - This was allowed on the Xbox 360. You could buy games on a disc or purchase them off the marketplace, and as long as you're logged into your account you can download a game that you own onto another console.

Your Games - "Just like it does today on the Xbox 360"

Your Time - I rather like that they have done this. Being able to play games while downloading them will be a massive benefit as i wont need to wait for the entire game to finish before playing it.

Your Call - This could be done on pretty much any console from the PS2 era to now

Your Schedule - I like what they have done here, being able to pause games instantly will prove to be pretty convenient

Your Stuff - Correct me if i'm wrong but this could also be done on the Xbox 360. You could log into your account on any Xbox 360 after downloading it, being able to access pretty much everything

Your Family - If this is stating that if a family member makes a new account on an Xbox One that already has a gold account and receive all of the benefits then this is great.

Hopefully they allow developers to have something like the "Steam Workshop" where people could upload mods to their game.

That'd be a really cool feature and it would help out the 3rd party developers a lot, I like it :D

I am sure that they are allowing certain games to have mods included. Depending on the developer. Which is a big positive.

Like 4J and Mojang for Minecraft.
