GameStop managers to receive free Xbox One

Turns out, in addition to a PlayStation 4, GameStop managers will also receive an Xbox One this holiday season. The announcement was made at the retailers' expo in Las Vegas a few hours after it revealed managers would receive a PS4 and seven games.

Neowin reached out to GameStop and the company confirmed the detail. The Xbox One console will be given to all the general managers of the company's 6,500 stores, whether or not they attended the expo. No word on whether it will also include software.

Why would they give them free to GameStop managers? Hardly fair... They work for their money just like everyone else.

I dont really understand why they would get one. They are not the only providers selling the xbox one so I just dont understand why they would get a copy free.

That is pretty awesome, it seems like I shall go and work at GameStop, start from the bottom and work to the top, and come the next next-gen console release, I will be getting them for free heh. I like the thought that Microsoft and Sony are being so generous.
