GTA Online has around 700 missions, says Rockstar boss

GTA Online, the multiplayer component of GTA V, will feature around 700 missions.

So revealed Rockstar Games director Leslie Benzies, who told Spanish site 3Djuegos that players will encounter missions in a variety of ways.

According to online translations, Benzies revealed that the game will always have around 500 missions available, rotated 'continuously' to keep players engaged.

Players will be able to discover missions on the map, or receive in-game phone calls from non-playable characters that will engage new jobs. Benzies says players will also have access to a more traditional list of missions via the game menus.

Rockstar unveiled GTA Online recently with a debut trailer and news that it will launch two weeks after the September 17 release of GTA V.

Rockstar has confirmed a US and European GTA 5 release date of September 17 on Xbox 360 and PS3. The game will launch in Japan on October 10.

I agree, it's not too many, it makes the game even more fun to play, you get to play a lot longer with goals in mind, and Imagine the DLC too :D

The more I read abut this game the more I want to preoder it :)
Also 700 missions will keep people playing this for months for the hardcore players, I still play GTA IV today, this gmae is a keeper :D

On-Topic: Yeah GTA V is going to totally kill competition in the game industry for quite a while before people decide to move on to another game haha. I can't wait!
