CoD: Black Ops 2 'Apocalypse' DLC video shows new maps plus Ghosts

Treyarch has released a new gameplay video to show off its fourth Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC pack, titled 'Apocalypse'.

Activision confirmed the pack yesterday after days of teasers, including a short clip of the new Zombies stage.

The new DLC pack will bring two brand new multiplayer maps, two re-imagined 'fan-favourite' maps, and the new 'Origins' Zombies experience.

The pack will be released on Xbox 360 on August 27. As usual, no other platform dates were released, but expect Xbox exclusivity to last four weeks.

In related news, Infinity Ward has released this short and largely featureless Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer teaser trailer ahead of its planned reveal on August 14. Still interested?

Even after seeing the Ghosts multiplayer teaser it still looks and seems a lot like battlefield to me from the look to the feel of it. I am glad the DLC for BO2 is over and we are headed into Ghosts.

The zombies map looks like a great deal of fun, as for the multiplayer maps, they seem interesting, but I am not too sure if they will be amazing.

The map packs for CoD's are expensive anyway. BF do theres free, if they lowered there prices they'd probably get much more buyers.


It would be a lot better, seeing as a lot of players just get it for the zombies..

CoD always does good on their DLC map packs. A lot of people buy them regardless of the price.


Yeah they are good at making DLC but I think A LOT more people would buy if they put it to 800

Very true, Putting new maps into the game makes it last much longer also. If it wasn't for map packs call of duty would get boring much faster than it already does

I like getting all the content with the DLC back myself. If you don't want to spend a lot of money buying DLC i suggest picking up the season pass when the next game comes out
