Update: Xbox Live issues, Microsoft Investigating

Some folks are reporting that Xbox Live is having connection issues at present, and Microsoft has confirmed users may experience difficulties with connectivity. It said it is aware of an issue with signing in and connecting to XBL and are “hard at work to get you back online as soon as possible.” Currently the Xbox Live status page lists a Service Alert but with no details.

Users are reporting issues with starting games, Signing in, Buying content and issues with some apps.

This happens way too often now. It's a paid service, so why is it happening. I know stuff happens, but this is like the second time this Year.

ive been having isues with signing in sometimes. and lags alot and disconnects alot out of no where. but atleast putting time into fix it. that's always good to hear.

It Was Never Down For Me My Brother Was Playing And There Were No Signs Of Lag!

The Only Thing Was When I Tried To Make A New Account It Wouldnt Let Me Sign in

Titanium This was really annoying. Games wouldn't work, my downloads wouldn't show up. I guess that was a time for a break.


for some reason i never get affected by the XBL servers when they go down...

I was referring to Xbox1 and no you couldn't make a of more powerful for $500

Reading the comments, I'm seeing complaining about the paid service of XBL. Take it this way. A ONE year subscription of Xbox Live Gold is $60 if I remember correctly. $60 divided by 12 is $5 a month. $5 is money you could make in a day or two by doing some street performances in a place like New York.
