Update: Xbox Live issues, Microsoft Investigating

Some folks are reporting that Xbox Live is having connection issues at present, and Microsoft has confirmed users may experience difficulties with connectivity. It said it is aware of an issue with signing in and connecting to XBL and are “hard at work to get you back online as soon as possible.” Currently the Xbox Live status page lists a Service Alert but with no details.

Users are reporting issues with starting games, Signing in, Buying content and issues with some apps.

UPDATE: Xbox Status page now lists an issue with the LIVE network.

When I try to play fallout 3 my game freezes at the "loading extra content" screen and then I get disconnected from live... Same for black ops 2 except its the main menu.

Yep, I was trying to just load the dash upon start up and it would not work. I also could not play games from my downloaded content.
I am on the BETA program.

MrLonelyLobo This seems to be happening quite often with Microsoft now, I'm beginning to wonder why the sudden issues with Xbox Live. My guess is that with Microsoft trying to make the best security possible for the Xbox One, they have possibly lowered the amount of attention the current Live service is getting, which is causing all these problems. That's just my guess though.

No its because of the new dashboard beta testing

I can get online but can't play games that are on disk every time I go to play online on any game it black screens but I can play arcade games and GOD games
