Xbox One boss Don Mattrick 'resigns'

Don Mattrick, the most senior executive within Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business, has allegedly announced his intention to leave the company.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Mattrick is departing to take up the role of chief executive officer at beleaguered social games group Zynga.

Microsoft has declined to comment

I'd still not leave Microsoft for zynga even if it was double because it's not really as big as Microsoft. It's all about job security

im not sure, in my opinion it was a bad move, xbox is defiantly selling millions, and he's getting big pay with microsoft, if i was him, i would of stayed.

Zynga isn't doing very well at the moment. His Job isn't what you can call 'stable' in my opinion

Pay is likely a large factor on why he changed companies.
