Infinity Ward Testing Modern Warfare 2 Fix

According to the company's Twitter account, Infinity Ward is addressing the Modern Warfare 2 infinite ammo glitch, so 360 gamers: Your long national nightmare may soon be over. Right now, the fixes are being tested, so if you actually like infinite ammo, now's the time to get into games!

Here's the tweet:

Update in Test now: 1887s Balanced. Public "private" Match fix. Infinite Ammo fix. Prestige Hack on PS3 fix. Texture Hack on PC fix.

No word yet on when the patch will be released, but I gotta imagine it depends on how well they do in the test. Judging from Infinity Ward's past performance, I'll bet we'll see the fixes quickly.

The private matches are fun and all, but I mean I can NOT find a real Domination game anymore i mean 9/10 it's a glitched lobby now... I am kinda glad they are fixing all of the mistakes/bugs/flaws in the game as of now. Also the 1887's are a bit overpowered and im glad that they are being nerfed.

I reckon they shouldn't change any of the guns because its just going to overpower something else. Thats why a public Beta would've helped a little bit more.

That's a shame, as the private match glitch really doesn't harm anyone. As for the 1887's, they are annoying when someone is using them akimbo and they kill you from a ridiculous range, but then they're not unstoppable. I wonder if they'll be as much fun to use after the update?

Finally the 1887 are getting down graded! Amount of times i've died to them, but i do use them when i pick the up :roll:

I can't stand those things and it stresses my out like crazy when I get killed by them :(
