Xbox One November 27 release is just a placeholder

Responding to Amazon’s November 27 release listing for the Xbox One, Microsoft has denied it has set an official launch date.

“We have not informed our retail partners about a specific launch date for the Xbox One,” a representative told IGN.

“It is commonplace for retailers to put placeholders dates and prices into our system until they are given a specific date and price. We are excited to release the Xbox One in November 2013.”

As Steph noted when posting the listing, it was always an odd date – too late in the month to pip Sony at the post, and well behind the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Also, a Wednesday, which is weird.

you do realize that they have games releasing on launch with the console. making it very unlikely to release on a thursday.

I can't really understand what you're trying to say honestly, but if you pre-order then the prices that I listed apply, I don't know where you got $1,000 from, the current prices are ridiculous as it is, $1,000 would cause uproar.

I can't see why you feel that way, it's much better than the Xbox 360 version because it give improved accuracy, especially considering that there was never any need for diagonals on the Xbox 360 version.
