Medal of Honor To Be First M-Rated Of The Series

Electronic Arts has confirmed that its modern-day Medal of Honor reboot will in fact be the first Mature-rated game in the franchise’s history.

Executive producer Greg Goodrich revealed the info in a recent Q&A posted on the game’s official site (via Cinemablend). Judging from the "100% in-game footage" included in the reveal trailer, it’s easy to see why the game will in fact be the most mature of the series.

Of course, this revelation is all the more interesting considering that just yesterday, EA Montreal producer Matt Turner was quoted as saying that the "No Russian" airport sequence in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 "pushed it too far," and that EA "wouldn’t have done it."

How EA Los Angeles will earn their Mature rating remains to be seen, but as Goodrich said in the Q&A, "We will always be grounded by our core tenets of authenticity and respect for the soldier." Guess we'll find out if the "authentically M-rated" approach works out for EA when the game is released in the fall of next year.

this game looks like it has a lot of potential. the graphics look amazing and it's going to be interesting what the people behind MoH have up their sleeves after all these years.

I am still surprosed that they have decided to make it in present day, that sort of ruins MoH for me. Hopefully the story will be better than mw2, coz it failed a bit for me.

Hmm well 5 years of cod.... think about how pissed off you get at fagglettes on COD 4 years of being pissed off to the point you scream throw your control slam the door and go sit in a corner for 4 years gets to you.... i still play cod but not near as much due to the fact after about 4 hours of playing you can die from a lethal dose of bull****

Also i doubt it will be more realistic because CoD is best in the business.
