KarmaRambo Why are people complaining about this? If you begin to mod your avatar or gamerscore or even flash the drive, you deserve to be banned, just grow up guys, you can't say this is unfair at all. You're agreeing to a set of rules, break them, and naturally you will be punished.

Because my friend was suspended once for doing nothing wrong. People just filed complaints on him enough to get the violation. It may not have been a ban, but a couple of more violations would have been a ban. Xbox support even said that people just filed too many complaints on him. Doesn't matter if you mod at times. Sometimes you just have to be good at games.

That's a blatant lie, Xbox will look into things before banning anyone, people filing complaints alone will not get someone banned, they would meet a legitimate reason. Microsoft are one of the biggest companies in the world, they're not going to screw their customers off by banning them for no particular reason. Your friend isn't telling you something.

Thanks for knowing the story for me. How is he not telling me something when I was in every single game he was in? He never played without me before that moment. My story is a legitimate one. If you look at what you can file complaints for, it would make sense anyway. There is one for just cheating. Microsoft can't get into individual game servers and check out all of your stats to prove it. They prove it by seeing that a good number of people reported you for it.

Don't worry that has been changed. It used to be if you get a certain number of complaints filed on your account you get suspended, however that has been updated. They no longer ban people without looking into it. I remember whenever my friends wanted to change their name they would just get a bunch of people to file complaints on the GT so they could change it for free, but that doesn't work anymore.

Kinda seems like a big slap in the face. So many people get banned already, I don't know if this will affect sales or not but I do know some people will be a little upset with this.

You were in every single game? I call bull shat! Hahaha. Your story is not legitiment. Why would people in every game you play just file complaints? Yeah they wouldn't.

You can call what you want. I was always on before him and off after him. He had strict house rules at the time which made this the case. You weren't there, so in no way can you tell me it's not legitimate. People seem to be reporting less nowadays, even just for player reviews. People reported more in the past when it was a newish feature. All in all, I'm just saying not every ban is a deserving one. It's statistically impossible for every one of their bans to be deserving. In those cases, if banning people does make you lose your games, that is a joke. I would not want that to be a possibility no matter how rare the chances are of being wrongfully banned.

You're on a modding website, you realize that correct? This entire website was founded around modding and exploiting games. haha

It's one of those things where it is but it isn't. TTG was a modding site, but now they want to step slowly away from that and into general technology.

myself i herd about this back when mw2 was out for the fact it was a modding site

TTG's approach hasn't been focused on modding for roughly two years now. Yet still people don't get it fml.

TTG was a modding site but now were slowly making our way out of that name and turning it into a general technology forum!

I think everyone is under the impression its turning away from modding simply because there is nothing significant going on in the modding world, JTAG's have been offline for who knows how long now. If Xbox One has an exploit like the 360 did with MW2, The forums will blow up again with everything modding and hacking.

I think the site admins would be content to go with the flow and be whatever kind of website the people want it to be... whatever gets you money right?

Xbox_One I dont believe this twitter account because it only has 21K followers? If it was the official Xbox Support twitter then im sure it would have more than 21K people following it.

It's not the main support account, it is Xbox Supports overflow account; which helps for when multiple support requests are coming in. The reliability of the account is trustworthy, however do take in mind that the people behind these accounts are not trained representatives of Microsoft and so take everything they say with a grain of salt.
