4
Original story: A recent tweet by the Xbox support team has stated that if you get banned on Xbox One, you lose all your games. This is another reason why you should stay clean and follow the terms of use on Xbox One. The Xbox support staff has been answering many questions on twitter about the console and features the system beholds.

UPDATE: Thanks Matt.

The Xbox Support Twitter now claims they were talking about the Xbox 360 and not the Xbox One, They are unable to comment on Xbox One ban policy at this time.

This is great news. Hopefully this will make people who decide to mod and hack think twice.

This is actually a good idea to stop people from modding games.

I would honestly like to see a system where there are very few mods.

TeamArianaGrande So wait this is for the 360 and maybe the Xbox One or what?

Exactly what you said.
This is for the 360 for breaching ToU and only affects downloaded games.
This is not confirmed for the xbox one and if it was, it would probably only affect downloaded games (not physical copies) and only if they were to breach the ToU. (like for the 360)

You don't lose games you've payed for, only dlc and such, with this there saying even games you buy (like games on demand) you will lose if you get banned complete BS if you ask me.

I don't think you understand, they would never make a brand new implementation for a last gen console that they see fit and not reinforce it for their new console. MS is currentky damage controlling, they know their including this implementation and even if it is for digital downloads only which in the XB1's case the discs are basically a digital install if you will, which is the same thing. It's bull crap no matter how you look at it.

ohLuciiid Why is everyone switching to PS4 acting like they're gonna get banned?

So what you're all saying is that you're gonna break the rules right away?

Just follow the rules and this won't be a problem for you.

This site was founded based on modding and cheating at video games.... Of course we're worried about being banned.

Agreed

Who thought this site was ever for legitimate gamers? Everyone here looks for the shortcuts and secrets.
