E3 2013: PlayStation 4 to include a 500 GB hard drive

4.7
Along with the $59 price listing for the DualShock 4 and PlayStation Eye accessories, a Sony Japan press release noted that the PlayStation 4 will include a 500 GB hard drive.

When looking back at our initial specs comparison between the Xbox One and PS4, the latter system's storage capacity was one of the points that was had yet to be revealed when the system was announced in February. Another big detail missing in February was the system's $399 price, which was announced during Sony's E3 press conference Monday.

Well considering Sony and the PS4 want to use that new cloud thing, and how the "future" of gaming will just be downloading games off the internet, we're going to need a lot of space.

Same, I shouldn't be running out of space now.

ME0W Not surprising, although I've only used about 30GB of my 250GB HDD on my 360.

That's it? :P You have to download all the games now though, so that 30 will shortly turn into 300. :D

LOL, I used everything of my PS3 :D I have to delete stuff if I want to download something else.

But on your 360, you didn't have to download every game that is about 15GB. I think people will run through this space quite fast on the One but I think it is just perfect for the PS4.
