Super Luigi U arrives as DLC June 20, packaged standalone August 25

4.7
The Super Luigi U DLC announced for New Super Mario Bros. U is being released as a digital download for the game on June 20 in both North America and Europe. However, it's also coming to retail as a packaged standalone on August 25 in North America, and July 26 in Europe. The DLC will be priced at $19.99, while the standalone is $29.99. You won't need NSMB U to play the packaged standalone.

This morning's Nintendo Direct also revealed Nabbit, who you chased in the first game, will be a playable character in Super Luigi U.

ShadowBoltDashie I don't have a Wii U so I don't know how the DLC works. Is it like how it is on the PS3 and Xbox 360, like do they have something like MSP?

I was wondering the same thing lol

They have Nintendo Points for Wii and DSi stores and they are 2,000 for $20.

-Maatzy- yeah, that's abit overpriced in my opinion

But it is almost like a new game because you don't need the game to play this DLC.

Wow, that's a lot of money for a DLC, especially since it's on the Wii U.

DLC seems like such a weird thing for Mario games. I never thought They would do this but maybe it will boost there sales now.
