WWE 2K14 throws down at retailers on October 29

WWE 2K14 is scheduled to launch on October 29 for Xbox 360 and PS3, Take-Two Interactive confirmed in its fiscal year 2013 financial report. Take-Two snagged the rights to the WWE franchise in February, through a deal that went down before THQ's public bankruptcy auction in January. The deal gives Take-Two exclusive rights to publish WWE games "across all major platforms and distribution channels."

WWE 2K14 is in production from series developer Yukes, based in Japan, and 2K Sports.

The universe modes and the abundance of creation modes need to go, the classic Smackdown games on the PS2 was what I grew up with and I used to play them until 2008 when I got my Xbox. 2K make good games and bad games, I'm hoping they're going to have a myCareer mode like NBA, and bring back GM mode, to the classic fashion. I also hope they'll bring back the classic career mode and legendary scenario modes, and improve the feel of the online a lot more. I feel quite isolated when I play online. I predict no season pass on this upcoming game seeing as that's not how 2K rolls, so hopefully you'll have a lot more people playing online.

Thank god, I hope no more season pass codes, EA is gay, not that 2k is taking over this means that the game will run on 2k servers not EA.

Very nice. I hope they put in The Shield and increase Ryback's stats. I hope they fix the glitches within Universe mode as well, but I am sure more will creep up anyway. I'm still looking forward to it. Pretty entertaining game.
