Black Ops 2 Double XP Weekend Extended

As many Xbox users may already know, Microsoft’s Xbox Live service ran into a few issues yesterday, rendering online services non-functional, including the ability to participate in this weekend’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 double XP event, for the majority of the day.

In response, developers Treyarch have decided to extend double XP goodness until Tuesday morning, giving you that extra day to rack up some additional XP.

At the moment, Xbox Live is, for the most part, up and running, though the official website lists a few services may still be experiencing difficulties.

Remember, Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC also drops this Tuesday for Xbox Live users, later for PS3 and PC users.

It's great to see them repaying us for their server faults, i havn't seen a company do this in a long time.

Pedantic So Treyarch do have a heart deep inside them somewhere.


Treyarch cares for their customers while Infinity Ward is just feeding off all of their buyer's tears of what they call video games


I don't know about you.. but IW games have better gameplay than any Treyarch game ever made.. CoD4-Mw2-Mw3 had amazing gameplay with good servers, while Blackops 1 and 2 are very laggy especially Blackops 1 if you don;t have GREAT connection.
