PS4 in October, Xbox 720 in November?

Colin Sebastian from Baird Equity Research believes that the PS4 will launch in October and be followed by the Xbox 720 in November.

Despite this claim, Colin also notes that he had recently heard word of "early production issues with Sony's PS4" and that could shift the release date to a later date.

"Given the fragile state of the console game market, we expect the E3 trade show in June will take on added significance, most likely providing the industry with the first public opportunity to examine next-generation hardware," Sebastian stated.

"Our checks suggest that next-generation console hardware will be largely built from 'off the shelf' high-end PC components, along with hybrid physical/digital distribution models, enhanced voice controls and motion sensing (Kinetic integration with every Xbox), and broad multi-media capabilities," he detailed.

You are realllllly worried about a name? Call it what ever your little heart desires. If you are going to complain about the name, I believe you should maybe not play xbox anyway.

How do you work that out exactly? The 360 has sold less than Wii and PS3 this generation so what makes you think it will sell more,are you psychic? I would hope more that it doesn't get RROD myself or it has good games.Most 10 year olds will no doubt just hope it has COD 7 or 8 with better graphics :)


actually the xbox has not sold less than the ps3, you might have been mistaken that sony has manufactured more ps3s than microsoft has xboxs, that means sony just built more ps3s. but xbox is still overselling ps3. The wii though oversold both of them.
