Report: PS4 could miss Christmas release in Europe.

According to new reports, the next generation PlayStation console will launch in Japan and the US by the end of 2013, but will not be released in Europe until "early 2014".

Reports claim that the PS4's rumored delay is due to "the complexities involved in European distribution"

Sony revealed on Thursday that they would be making an announcement on February 20 - Which we think to be the official announcement of the PS4.

I don't really see how a new console could be set back a couple of months, just based on how it's distributed.

Ah well, as long as Sony gets it out in early 2014 as it says, and I mean early, it should be all good, otherwise I think they would go and buy a 720/next gen Xbox.


I'm getting a 720, simply because the Xboxes are better than the PS3s IMO, so hopefully momentum works for MS...


I'm pretty sure this year Microsoft will once again come out on top. It's that that Sony is bad, it's just Microsoft is better.

Yeah, Europe would sell way more than Japan...


It's still releasing, just a little bit after.


If it misses Christmas it will be stomped out by the 720... :/
