XBLA Minecraft has sold nearly 4.5 Million

Minecraft was launched May 9 onto XBLA and within 24 hours it had sold over 400,000 copies. Since launching it has sold between 40,000 – 60,000 copies every week and during a period in August it was reportedly selling 17,000 per day!

Now according to Mojang's statistics, at the end of November the game had sold over 4.4 Million.

With a bit of good luck the XBLA game might make it to 5 Million before the end of the year, that would be very impressive!

It's worth noting that Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is developed by 4J Studios, a UK team that created the Xbox Arcade versions of Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie

$90,000,000 not counting the people who bought the pc version after this because it was updated farther.
