Wii Mini will not be available in UK

4.5
During the Wii U's UK launch event in London, CVG had a chance to speak with James Honeywell, head of consumer marketing at Nintendo UK, who confirmed that the Wii Mini is "specifically for Canada only"
"We have no plans to launch it in the UK. Our focus here is all about Wii U,"

The Wii Mini is set to be launched in Canada on the 7th of December for $99. We're told it's a cut down version of the Wii console with no online capabilities and specifically comes in matt black with red trim.

The reduced price has been achieved by removing the Wii's disc load/eject mechanism, network adapter and GameCube backwards compatibility.

Do you agree with having specially designed consoles launched in specific territories only or should manufactures treat everyone equally?
