Bungie's new project “Destiny” is prematurely revealed

Marketing images that were supposed to be kept secret have been leaked, revealing an insight into what developer Bungie have been working on.

After the leak occurred Bungie themselves posted the image on their own site under the title “Well, that just happened… again.”

Along with the picture, all the post mentions is:
“Go ahead. Take a peek. It’s alright. We weren't quite ready, but we will be soon, and we can’t wait to finally show you what we've really been up to.

Stick around, we haven’t even started yet. “

According to Bungie co-founder Jason Jones, Destiny "is designed for your inner seven year old. We want to make it feel like a mythic adventure".

Bungie are also describing the game as “fun and accessible to all” with gameplay that is “social at its core”.

We'll bring you more news as it becomes available.

by the looks of the pic its looks pretty "alienish" hopefully a game that will blow Halo and COD away.

Agreed

They didn't leave Halo because they wanted to, Microsoft was enforcing another Halo game, but Bungie did not want to keep the story going on (for the time being), evidentially Microsoft gave them an option, and they chose to do their own projects.

The machine in the back looks sick. If they mean it is designed for my inner seven year old, I hope it will feel like a good game from a few years ago that didn't need multiplayer too be good. Along with that, have lasting gameplay value and actually have an amazing singleplayer. I know it will just be full of creative things that fit childhood, but I hope it will be what I want it to be for my inner seven year old.
