Xbox dashboard update out today

The Xbox is today being updated to fix vairous Xbox Music, Xbox Video and Smart Glass issues.

Major Nelson has announced:

“I wanted to let you know that the team has just released a system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE. Starting today when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you’ll be back online in a few moments.

In this update, we are correcting some issues such as displaying the incorrect playlist name when launching a playlist from Xbox SmartGlass to the console, an error with Xbox Video closed-captioning and an error with Xbox Music that some were experiencing.

Thanks and we will see you online.”

It's awesome having 8 GT's at once were all fanboys lol

There still seems to be connection issues, usually when there are alot of people in a party, peoples voices tend to cut off like they're lagging and people have the same names when ever you join or look at the party list. This does not happen only to me also.


same thing happens with me with it taking time to update to show each persons individual gamertag instead of it saying everyone has the same GT in party chat... quite annoying in my opinion


agree it really sucks when you see your own gt 8 times in a party
