Black Ops 2 Launch biggest so far in 2012 for UK

Unsurprisingly, the launch of Black Ops 2 was biggest of 2012 so far hitting the number 1 spot on all platforms.

With 60% of all sales being on the Xbox 360, 38% on the PlayStation 3. Which leaves the heavily pirated PC system with about 1% of the sales.

Even though the Black Ops 2 launch has been a big success, in terms of all time launches it still falls behind the first Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare 2.

I bet GTA5 and MW4 will beat that by far. But I seen it sold as much as other places besides the uk?

Not a surprise to me as I personally didn't expect it to do better than Modern Warfare 3.

I feel that the reason why Black Ops 2 hasn't beaten it's predecessor is because Modern Warfare 3 put a lot of people off of the series. Another reason being that the launch is rather close to christmas holiday, so many will get the game as a present.
