David Vonderhaar: Commentaries are lame

4.7

David Vonderhaar, Game Design Director at Treyarch, has made it publicly known that "commentaries are lame". That's a pretty big statement considering how much of a positive effect Youtube and big commentators have on the Call of Duty community.

Below you will find a few images taken from MuzzaFuzza's Twitter account. Above are images from WhiteBoy7thSt and David Vonderhaar. For those of you who do not know, MuzzaFuzza and WhiteBoy7thSt are commentators on youtube with a total combined audience of 2 million people! That is a huge audience! What you may not have known about them, is apparently they are "lame".

As reported and proven time and time before, Mom and Pop shops that sell videogames are often easily swindled to sell you products once they receive them. Money talks, and these shop owners often listen! Games have been known to slip out of these stores up to two weeks early if you have enough cash on the table.

What are your opinions on people who legitimately buy the game early? Should they be punished with channel strikes, ban's and resets? Or is it fair game since they legally bought this game at a certified reseller?

They release it on the 13th, yet the servers are up for a while now, just turn them off, wipe all the stats at 12pm on the release date.

I don't think they should be banned. But I do think it's outrageous to spend three times that of retail to receive the game a couple days/weeks early.

Its kind of unfair how that they will basically bribe a shop owner to get a game early by 3 or 4 days. If they are willing to spend like $700 on a $60 its their choice.

jamiemackay I don't really care if people get the game early, i kinda feel sorry for them, spending like three times the amount of the retail price so they can get it a couple of days early is just sad.

Well Whiteboy7thst is rich, so I doubt a few extra dollars would be a problem, but I think Machinima or possibly Treyarch themselves gave these people copies early.
