FIFA 13 sales hit 7.4 million in four weeks

EA sold around 7.4 million copies of FIFA 13 in four weeks, the publisher said today.

This, added EA, makes it "the biggest sports launch of all-time".
FIFA 13 sold 4.5 million copies worldwide in five days, which made it the "biggest videogame launch of 2012 and biggest sports videogame launch of all-time", according to EA at the time.

EA also logged the fastest-selling UK game of 2012 with FIFA 13, which topped the UK software charts (week ended September 29) accounting for 71 per cent of the UK's total video unit sales.

EA today also announced FIFA digital net revenue of over $115 million in the first half of fiscal 13, including FIFA Online 2 and FIFA World Class Soccer that together contributed over $50 million.

I never really played any of the fifa's but from what i heard it is good, so i decided to get the game and really liked it. Only reason i got this game was because of the way everyone talked about it on the forums.. Never really played a soccer game until now

Mortar 7.4 million sales in four weeks? Wow, that is pretty impressive, let alone the 4.5 million copies sold in the first five days. A few of my friends got it as a present from their girlfriends, pretty good deal for them huh.

It will be interesting to see how many copies are sold by the time Fifa 14 comes.

Hell ya they got there money back with in 1 day of the sales open. I just think its gonna go up even more by christmas.

Yeah, alot more I think..There is still alot of people who haven't bought it and still play FIFA 12. So they will be getting it for Christmas.
