Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty developer Team Ninja revealed new details about the game's minimum and recommended PC requirements. These PC requirements reveal the hardware that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty players should have to meet certain in-game performance settings.

Following the success of the Nioh franchise, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja welcome players to the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, a brand-new soulslike action-RPG. Wo Long generated a lot of hype from Nioh fans this past June, making it one of 2023's most anticipated games yet. The anticipation would build into Tokyo Game Show 2022, where attendees were the first to have hands-on time with the game last September. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players around the world would have the opportunity to try out a limited-time demo shortly after Tokyo Game Show. Fortunately, players will soon have another opportunity to try out Wo Long in a new demo launching across all platforms, including PC.

Team Ninja revealed minimum and recommended PC requirements for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty before the demo launches later this month. All PC gamers should have Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, DirectX 12, and 60 GB of hard disk drive storage to meet the basic operating requirements. The game's minimum requirements include an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3400G CPU, 8 GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1650 (4GB) or Radeon RX 570 (4GB) GPU. Meeting these minimum requirements allows PC gamers to play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at 720p and 30 frames-per-second. Those wanting to reach 60 FPS at 1080p must meet the recommended PC requirements, which includes an Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT CPU, 16GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB) or Radeon RX 5700 XT (8GB) GPU.



Players are encouraged to meet these PC requirements before launching the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo on February 24 or pre-ordering the game from Steam. Team Ninja did not share specifications for targeting 1440p or 4K gaming, but PC gamers are expected to have current generation Intel, AMD, and Nvidia hardware to play at the game's highest settings.

Wo Long's PC requirements contain some of the most popular hardware tracked by Steam today such as the i5-8400 and the GTX 1650. However, players should consider upgrading from lower end hardware since the minimum requirements target 30 FPS at 720p. 60 FPS is crucial for action-RPGs like Nioh and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty due to a reduction in input lag.

Players will be able to try out various in-game settings in the demo on both PC and consoles. PC gamers should consider the demo as a great opportunity to test our their builds before Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's launch date.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launches on March 3 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
