Black Ops 2 Wii U won't launch with Call of Duty Elite

4.6
Black Ops 2's Elite service won't be available in any form on the Wii U at launch, Activision says.

"We are currently evaluating options for Call of Duty Elite to support Nintendo's Wii U game system, however Call of Duty Elite for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will not support this platform when the game launches on November 13," Activision tells Kotaku.

This is true in more than just the Elite sense, since the Wii U doesn't launch until November 18 in North America. Activision recently announced Elite will be free across all platforms for Black Ops 2 and will have a season pass for DLC, at least on Xbox 360. There's no word yet on a season pass for other platforms, but Activision is "working with Nintendo" to bring it to Wii U.

DemonSurfer It's Wii "U" not "Wii" and it's more powerfull than XBOX and 360 and has a "proper" controller so you don't use Wiimote. It will more than likely have extra features the PS3 and 360 don't have. You haven't even seen the game on Wii U yet let alone played it so you can't judge it yet.

you kno this kid is getting a wii U i bet you still play black ops on the wii

Only certain online games will have voice chat, and the voice chat will be done by the game pad not the pro controller. It doesn't matter if the Wii U is more powerful it's a new-gen system that's going to play the games at Sony and Microsoft's current-gen console capability. From that alone we have every right to judge. I owned an Nintendo Wii back in the day. Terrible graphics, and voice chat was a rarity, game play was severely limited in some games compared to the other consoles. Then I got an Xbox 360 and everything changed. Don't get me wrong the Wii had some great games: Mad World, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Legend of Zeldas. I will buy a Wii U later for Pikmin 3 and if I believe right another Super Smash Bros. But generally I enjoy the Xbox 360 a lot more.

WreckTuhm Wii U sounded nice for a while, but now the more i'm finding out about it, the less it seems like it will be good.. It seems like it's going to be a bit of a let down. :/

of course! Every product nintendo has released since the gamecube has been kind of a letdown
