Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Receives New Overview Trailer

4
Game Freak’s Pokemon Scarlet and Violet kick off the ninth generation of Pokemon when they release later this week on Nintendo Switch. If the barrage of trailers and information hasn’t been enough, there’s one more overview trailer to watch before launch. Check it out below.

As a student of Naranja/Uva Academy in the new Paldea region, players embark on a quest to discover their treasure. With complete freedom to go almost anywhere (thanks to the Legendary mounts Koraidon and Miraidon), one can challenge all the Gym Leaders and eventually the Pokemon League Champion.

They can also battle Titan Pokemon in search of the Herba Mystica or take on Team Starfall, rambunctious Academy students that have set up bases throughout the region. Co-op is available for up to four players, and new Tera Raid battles provide end-game fights against Terastallized Pokemon. Post-launch events like a Tera Raid against a Terastrallized Charizard from December 1st to 4th and December 15th to 18th are also coming up.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch on November 18th for Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Crazy how they stick to making two separate games with minor differences. I remember back in the day where there were like 4 different variations with multiple differences, but anymore, I don't like where they're going.
