Minecraft Xbox update preview

Mojang has posted a quick preview of the next update coming to Minecraft XBLA. In the list below, you can see three different shots from the upcoming patch, including what appear to be some Endermen (in a picture labeled by Mojang as "the most anticipated thing on Xbox 360"), an underground zombie, and even a spider at the end of a rail line.

And below: a brief video showing off a new sheep pet coming to XBLA's Avatars. The sheep looks cute indeed, but that pixelated wool can't be ideal for a sweater.

Leveling and Enchanting are coming in a later update.

Kind of excited, but not too excited. The food bar is kind of awful, but the End should be great!

You mean you a Silverfish and Cave Spider. It's hard to see, but the cursor is on a Silverfish in your "underground zombie" picture.

Yeah, Creative will be one of the new features. I'm looking forward to it.

Okay, I want to set this straight... There is no official release date on ANY Xbox Update, because, well, here's the process-

Example: 4J Studios, 1.8.3

-They finish the update.
-Then, they have to send it to CERT testing.
-If CERT sees any glitches or bugs, they send it back.
- Rinse and repeat, if it keeps being not perfect.
- Finally, once it gets good, CERT sends it out to the Marketplace.

4J Has already told us they will be the first to tell us, when they send it off to testing. Testing takes about 5-10 days, so after they announce it, it'll be around a week before it rolls out.

They never announced a release date, so it wasn't meant to be out.
