Durango Alpha Tower Arrives on Ebay - SOLD

4.4

With the past few weeks of random Durango Alpha Tower image leaks, user DaE continues to push Microsofts buttons.

Earlier tonight, August 12th 2012, a Durango was posted on Ebay by user SuperDaE for $1.00. We caught up with user DaE for a second and asked if he had anything he would like to add to the story, he said "All proceeds go to charity. And by charity, I mean my new car."

For those who do not know what the Durango is, it is the next generation Xbox which is not expected to be released for a few years still. This is NOT what the console will look like either. This is called an Alpha Tower. It is in no way close to a final product.

The item was listed with a few items, which include the controller and the power supply. Below you can find the Ebay link, which is expected to be pulled down somewhat soon by Ebay or Microsoft.

UPDATE:

The item has been sold for $20,100, it is unclear who actually bought the item but we'll keep you posted!

Rule34 LMFAO, I can't believe someone actually bought it.

gery98 Either someone with loads of money bought this, or Microsoft.

Wow, I have nothing else to say, I think you're right.

It's insane for someone with that kind of money to just buy it.

/facepalm. This kit, along with all other development kits, are property of microsoft, they would not need to buy it. and also to everyone else, on ASSEMbler, ASSEMbler said it was a joke by DaE, as well as other well noted members (these people are very well known in the prototype/beta/development scene, even for current/next gen.)

If Microsoft wanted it back, they could take it back, or disable it.
