Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t even have a set release date yet, but it looks like the highly anticipated title could be launching with numerous DLC packs.
A brand new leak has surfaced online which details all of the DLC packs expected to be included with the ‘Digital’ and ‘Digital Deluxe’ editions of the game. Plus, it seems as though players who pre-order one of these editions will receive 72-hour early access upon launch.
The last time any official news was shared about Hogwarts Legacy was back at the dedicated State of Play event in March. Fans were disappointed that a release date was still not confirmed, but it does appear as though the 2022 release is still being targeted.
Hogwarts Legacy was originally slated to release back in 2021 but was delayed to Holiday 2022 after the developers revealed they were “giving the game the time it needs” to create the best experience possible.
As discovered by a user over on Reddit, a full list of DLC packs, extras, and early access details have been leaked. The user managed to find these details via the HTML code of the official Hogwarts Legacy website, suggesting that the developers are preparing for further announcements.
The leak reveals the following DLC packs and extras included with certain editions of the game:
Dark Arts Cosmetic Pack
Dark Arts Battle Arena
Dark Arts Garrison Hat
72 Hours Early Access To The Game
Floating Ancient Magic Wand with Book
Although the tags ‘Digital Only’ and ‘Digital Deluxe Edition’ were found in the code, it’s unclear exactly what items and pieces of DLC will be included with which edition.
It’s also entirely possible that these are simply placeholders, and will be changed by the time pre-orders go live. So, we recommend you take these details with a pinch of salt for the time being.
The user does go on to speculate on what each item could be exactly. Make sure to check out the full post below for a complete breakdown of the leak.
