The PS5 version of Forspoken will feature loading times that barely last one second, according to Teppei Ono, the technical director for the Luminous Engine at Luminous Productions.

This is all naturally thanks to the PS5’s M.2 SSD that allows for ultra-fast loading times and expansive game worlds, as well as AMD FSR 2.0, allowing for improved performance. Elsewhere, the PC version of the game will offer multiple graphics settings, allowing the game to run on different hardware setups.

PS5 boasts incredibly fast load times due to the dedicated hardware. With a PC equipped with the M.2 SSD, players will be able to enjoy gameplay without having to worry about load times on both PS5 and PC.

Forspoken is pencilled in for release on PS5 and PC on October 11, 2022, having been delayed from its original launch window of May 2022.
