Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Development Update Teased

4.3
Fans are eagerly waiting for Marvel Spider-Man 2 to release, but it seems like there is still a long time before we will be seeing more of the game.

Tony Todd, the actor who is playing Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 shared a tweet recently which gives fans quite a bit of information about the development of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. In a tweet (thanks Comicbook!), Tony states that he is going for motion capture work so he had to wake up early. Now one might be wondering that he could have other commitments as well and this might not be related to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the follow-up events tell a different story.

The moment the tweet was posted, a number of fans commented various GIFs of Venom. Tony liked those comments which pretty much gives away the fact that the work in question was indeed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Interestingly, Tony also goes on to like a tweet by a person who states that they will be placing their order the moment Sony starts taking pre-orders.

Considering the fact that Tony is still doing the motion capture for the game, it can be said that the game is still in quite the early stages. However, it should be noted that the game is set for a 2023 release date, so there is still a long time to go for that. If motion capture work is still going on for the game, then it is very much likely that we will not be getting it early in 2023. And that makes a lot of sense from Sony’s standpoint as well. The reason is quite simple, God of War will be coming out very late this year, in all probability, and Sony does always space out its exclusive releases.
