Kim Dotcom accuses Joe Biden of ordering MegaUpload raid

4.6
Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom, free on bail after spending a month in jail after the file sharing website was shut down in January 2012, has pointed the finger at Vice President Joe Biden as the person who ordered the raid on Megaupload.

The big accusation is tempered by the fact that Dotcom is currently keeping his cards close to his chest. Dotcom claims that he has information that proves that Biden himself called for the Megaupload raid, but Dotcom has not shared or published the alleged information yet.

Vice President Biden is good friends with former Senator Chris Dodd, who is now the head of the Motion Picture Association of America. Dotcom's accusation suggests that corrupt motivations drove the raid on Megaupload and other related websites.

Shortly after being granted bail, Dotcom suggested that Washington was to blame for the Megaupload raid, insinuating that the shutdown was a "gift" to Hollywood and the MPAA. Dotcom and his team have spent the intervening months looking into the U.S. government's motivations. Dotcom claims that the Megaupload case was discussed in June of 2011 at a meeting in the West Wing of the White House, with multiple Hollywood executives in attendance. TorrentFreak also points out that the MPAA spent money to lobby the office of the Vice President in 2011.

"I do know from a credible source that it was Joe Biden, the best friend of former Senator and MPAA boss Chris Dodd, who ordered his former lawyer and now state attorney Neil MacBride to take Mega down," Dotcom told TorrentFreak. "At the appropriate time we will release what we know. The whole Mega case is quite the political thriller."

BritishColumbia Mega upload is coming back!

no it isnt

Yes it is.

No its not. Once the government clamps down on something claiming its illegal they wont just give it back.

Kim dotcom tweeted that it's coming back.

It's not a definite, but rather hopeful statement. He's back in court, so he has to win that battle.

I hope and have a feeling it will come back. Kim Dotcom is such a good man and it's not his fault that people uploaded illegal content. The companies had rights to go in and remove files that infringed their copyrights, and they did. There's a law that protects site owners. You see videos with copyrighted content on YouTube all the time (like MOVIES) that should not be on there. Yes they are removing things like that, but they're not being shutdown.

There's OBVIOUSLY some corruption behind this.

I highly doubt it. But if it does it's going to be a while getting through the United States justice system.
