Minecraft XBLA sells a million copies

Mojang's Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has sold over a million copies in less than a week on sale.
That's according to Microsoft who released the figure today as confirmation of the game's record-breaking XBLA sales.

"It's official: Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has has broken all previous Xbox LIVE Arcade digital sales records, selling more than any other title in the first 24 hours on Xbox LIVE Arcade," said Microsoft's Major Nelson blog in an official announcement last week.

Minecraft creator Markus 'Notch' Persson last week tweeted that performance numbers were "very, very good" and said the title became "profitable in an hour".

TwistedMetal PC Version is still better.

Hurr derr Theres mods, texture packs, and a lot of other stuff that it doesn't have.

I bought it. There is a section on the home screen about dlc and I hope that notch does something similar to computer edition and add updates for free.
