Halo 4 Gets an Official Release Date

Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries have announced via the Halo Waypoint that Halo 4 will be releasing worldwide this fall on November 6th, 2012.

To help you remember this date, the characters of Red Vs Blue (re-imagined in the Halo 4 universe) have devised some highly complex mathematical equations to make sure that you remember not to forget (Video in read more) It’s noteworthy that November 6th is, historically, the day that games within the Call of Duty franchise release. This means Halo 4 could very well be going right up against Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

It obviously wont. Halo 4 is only coming out for xbox 360, while Black ops 2 is coming out for all consoles.

Halo 4 and black ops sharing the same release date would be strange. I think this is going to force black ops 2 to be pushed ahead one week. I'm glad halo 4 got this release date. I was expecting a early December release.

Halo 4 would lose to Call of Duty in sales, if BO2 was released on the same date. It would be interesting to see the results though, if it happened.

If this has the same release date as the next Call of Duty it should be interesting to see who will get more sales... I really hope Halo 4 gets more sales but to be honest CoD will probably get more sales because you know how everyone 13 year old and under have to beg their parents to get the game, and they can get really annoying. Plus CoD has been pretty much the same game with a few tweaks for the past 5 years. I know some people can't see this and I think they're the must ignorant people in the gaming community.
