Report: 'Black Ops 2' listing spotted on Amazon France

In an entirely unsurprising turn of events, a listing for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" reportedly popped up on Amazon France this week. GameBlog.fr spotted the listing and grabbed a screenshot (seen above) before it was allegedly pulled, which has resulted in a bit of a kerfuffle between Activision's French arm and the site.

Earlier this year we reported that Activision had already snapped up domain registrations for a variety of Black Ops sequels (all the way up to "Black Ops 6", actually), so the listing on Amazon France doesn't exactly come off as unbelievable. Nor is it a surprise to suppose Activision might want to capitalize on Treyarch's most financially successful -- not to mention critically acclaimed -- Call of Duty titles.

Ringer17 The only way, and I mean ONLY, I would buy this game is if they managed to somehow carry on with nazi zombies without making me feel that they're screwing me over with a crap close combat map.

Also what the hell do they think they're doing!? "Black Ops 2" that is the most unoriginal, uninteresting, unimaginative name they could ever use for their sequel.

just gonna jump in you do know it went modern warfare, modernwarfare "2", then modernwarfare "3" and you call black ops 2 unoriginal go home sir your argument is unjustified so just get out. :)

IkyleI I'm gonna buy this when it comes out :D although the current black ops isn't as good as mw2 or mw3, it still a good/fun game
I Like black ops more than mw3 and mw2 its just the feel of the game and the guns i just like black ops better plus just to say stuff now that all u haters are gone and nubes moved on too mw3 the game is really not that bad now. This does not mean that i dont like mw3 though.even though its pretty much the exact same as mw2

black ops is better then mw3! mw3 was a fail but mw2 is the best i actually only play mw2 because how they messup mw3

yes i agree with you i would pirate it either cr*p ops was bad enough i dont want to pay another hundred to get crap that i wont enjoy
