It Takes Two Has Sold 2 Million Copies

Hazelight Studios’ It Takes Two launched earlier this year to widespread acclaim, with Josef Fares and his team once again delivering an excellent co-op game full of variety and creativity, and the game has, thankfully, enjoyed the kind of commercial success it deserves. Back in April, the developer confirmed that it had sold a million copies, and now, it’s crossed another major sales milestone.

Hazelight recently took to Twitter and announced that It Takes Two has now sold over 2 million copies worldwide. Clearly, sales are keeping a pretty steady momentum. It’s a remarkable achievement, especially when you consider that just like A Way Out, It Takes Two also uses the Friend’s Pass system.

It Takes Two is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In our review of the game, we awarded it a score of 8/10, saying, “While its story and characters could have used more work, It Takes Two is a fantastic co-op game that moves masterfully from genre to genre and never overstays its welcome.”
