Xbox LIVE Service Alert Issued

4.4
A new year begins, and we have encountered our first issue with an online gaming service: Xbox LIVE has entered a ‘service alert’ status. Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to be a serious outage, and at present is limited to some of the recently re-launched ‘apps’ for the Xbox 360 console.

Currently confirmed to be encountering issues are two of the original television delivery apps, both recently updated to offer Kinect compatibility. Both Sky Player and LoveFilm apps are encountering difficulties throughout Europe, and news sites have received reports that some North American users are also encountering similar issues with their equivalent apps.

Researching the issue, news sites have received the following statement from Microsoft Studios: “We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience [sic]”

before you talk, you should check your grammar AND check what we were talking about.

I was mentioning the title not the content >.>

and it is not show read, it's should read.

AND another thing, after you use a comma, a space after should be used (whoa i wrote like yoda here O.o)

I usually check the status every week where something does not feel right to me and pretty much theres a problem every week or two which does not really affect the service. Usually says its the 3rd party services. It's very rare problems to do with the xbox live access.

I-want-gold-to-troll lol, for a moment there, i thought it was a real crisis.

You and me both man. When I actually read the article I was like "Oh, lol, ok"

Yeah the use of the word 'Alert' makes it sound bad. When actually no one gives a crap. Can't watch TV on your Xbox?? Watch TV on your TV then... -_-

YOu watch it on your T.V. anyway that is why it is called T.V...... I doubt you would watch a film on the xbox.. Your xbox is connected to the T.V. therefore projecting the imgs onto T.V. Therefore you are watching T.V. not xbox :/ :)

This isn't relevant to this topic, but when I tried to launch the Zune application, it crashed and corrupted my profile. I couldn't even get online. Anybody else experienced this? (I recovered btw, I'm fine now)
