Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward’s Creative Strategist, has announced that new game modes will be making their way to Modern Warfare 3.

In Modern Warfare 3, players are able to create custom game modes via private matches to play with friends. However, these “custom games” aren’t accessible through ranked public matchmaking. The team behind MW3 has noticed a few user created modes that are worthy to step it up to the big leagues as stated by Robert Bowling during G4′s X-Play. Bowling tweeted that he’s “got some surprises for” the community this weekend in regards to “ new game modes for Modern Warfare 3″. He promised that we will learn more on what user created modes will make it to Modern Warfare 3 tomorrow. There is still no word on whether the “Hardcore Ricochet” will also be introduced this weekend.
