Modern Warfare 3 co-developer Sledgehammer Games has begun work on a new Call of Duty, a job listing spotted on Gamasutra reveals Clear as day, it says the studio is “actively recruiting top talent for our Call of Duty development team” with this specific ad looking for a senior online engineer. The chosen one’s duties will include ‘bringing our online experience to a new level’ as well as “the creation of multiplayer game modes and online community features.”
It’s likely this is the 2013 Call of Duty then, unless the studio’s original, action-adventure COD spin-off has found new life. Either way, don’t expect it to be an early title on the next-gen hardware; the listing specifically calls for experience on “current-gen consoles.”
Treyarch is only good at making zombies, without zombies Treyarch would be nothing. What's it have to do with more experience? Some company could become brand new & have developers & community managers from different companies & blow out everyone. I think if they tried having zombies in a Modern time frame game they'd absolutely dominate gaming for a couple years.
TryHardxModz The only reason Treyarch is still in the CoD series is because of zombies. If zombies was never born, Treyarch would be gone. Hopefully this new CoD game that Treyarch and Sledgehammer make isn't as bad as Black Ops.
I doubt Sledgehammer will be working with Treyarch, as Treyarch is more experienced.
cyimking12 They should make 2 games.. One for zombies only (maybe with capcom help) then one last cod game, that both companies (IW , Tre) work on together.
