Upcoming Xbox Apps Preview!

4.6
In the coming weeks Microsoft will be adding a few dozen apps to the xbox live marketplace for the users. Most of these applications are still not ready for public consumption as of now but a few are ready to come out of their shells! A complete list will be provided later on for those curious. Today we'll be showing a brief look at three upcoming apps for xbox live; Youtube, VEVO, and iHeartRadio!

The VEVO Application allows you to watch their music videos on your console in a clean and smooth manner. This app will be popular among live users due to its ease of use and simplicity.

iHeartRadio allows you to listen to local radio stations from around the country via your Xbox 360 console. From what we have seen so far it is surprisingly useful for finding that local station you either grew up with or moved away from!

Now the app everyone is pumped about, the Xbox 360 Youtube App! The application is a fantastic addition to the console's extensive list of media features to date. It enables a console user to watch videos from youtube.com with the option to link their youtube accounts to the console itself. Linking your accounts lets the user watch their subscriptions while also allowing them to subscribe to new content producers in-app.

Here is a list of all content partners known to be working on some form of media application or project for the Xbox Live service at this time.

Not a shot in hell. None of these are services that require a subscription, and since they already have Facebook, Twitter, and Last FM free to gold members, they'll more than likely follow suit with these new apps.
