BestBuy Slips Price For Xbox 360 Version of Minecraft

4.5
BestBuy has slipped the price (and possibly the release date) of Minecraft for the Xbox 360. Not only does it appear to be coming in disk format, it also looks like it will be selling for a whopping $60, as opposed to the PC version which costs only $20. The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft is a great alternative for those who don't have a fast enough PC to run the PC version. Little else is known about the console version of the game, other than the fact that it will have Kinect support. The BestBuy link can be found here:

newbreedofnerd tweeted about an hour ago that this information is inaccurate!
"The Minecraft listing and price on http://bestbuy.com is inaccurate. It is an XBLA game and no pricing info has been released."

its not going to be as popular as pc version but surely it going to get a lot of sales so it surly doesnt cost so much to make that it will have to sell for sixty quid.

cwc123 I thought this was just gonna be an arcade game for like $10

Lol $60 when I can just torrent the PC version...

Or just buy it for 10 and play online.

Why would they give you a discount if you bought it on PC already? The same would be like if you bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for PC and got it for half the price when buying it on PS3 or XBox 360, and thats not gonna happen.

I'm pretty sure the price and date are just "default values" that get put in. As well as the price. As for Minecraft coming out on a disc? That seems like a pretty cool idea but what's the point? The game isn't Gigabytes huge like an average game. I'm pretty sure that this is an error. And what about mods? Will they make mods possible? Like DLC for it? That'd be a cool idea.

whatsamod I think they need to find a way to link your Minecraft premium account to your XBL GT, that would be better because I've paid for MC on PC

I agree they ahould it would make everything easier

They should give the people who bought the game for the pc a discount, like half off or something like that cause $60 is a little expensive for an indie game and the people that bought it for the pc dont want to pay more for the same game they already have, come on people be more realistic
