Sony has announced another round of scheduled PSN maintenance for tomorrow so network services may be intermittent for about six hours. "There will be a routine PSN maintenance on Thursday between 02:00 and 08:00 UK time," it said on Twitter.

"PS Network services may be intermittent for some users."
Going on past cases, if you are already signed in before the beginning of the maintenance you should be able to remain on PSN and continue with your gaming session while the work is carried out.
