Modern warfare 3 developer apologizes for comments regarding Battlefield 3 bugs

4
Glen Schofield, co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, has deeply apologized for the comment he made yesterday regarding bugs in the Battlefield 3 beta.
Schofield reacted to a comment made by a gamer in regards to the recent 8 million players that played the Battlefield 3 beta stating:
“over 8 million testers. now that is a stress test, not just over a thousand like XP”
To which he replied:
“We had well over a 1000. IW has years of experience with the biggest MP game ever. I surely didn’t c bugs like I saw elsewhere.”
He has now come out and publicly apologized for his outburst saying that he was once where DICE are now and understands how hard it is:
“Bad day yesterday. My deepest apologies 4 bugs comment. I know about new engines, been there a dozen times. No disrespect intended.”

the reason mw3 demo had no bugs is that its the same crap every year.

Why is he apologizing ? aren't beta releases out there for us to find bugs ? and that's exactly what we did.. we found massive amounts of glitches and errors for them to work on. I wasn't expecting a epic beta, I was actually expecting worse.

Both of these games will be good to have in your game library.
When bored of BF3 go to MW3 and when bored of MW3 go to BF3 cant wait :)

Both games will be good...

GuruHD I know he wasn't really thinking when he said it but I don't understand why he said it, XP was a place you have to pay for which just over a thousand people turned up, battlefield 3 beta was free and easy to download, of course there were way more testers for BF3.

Totally agree with that, the battlefield 3 beta you could download anyone that had xbox live could download it but the xp was an event you had to turn up for therefore battlefield had over 8 million testers.

DopestDope_Eva Why doesn't EA apologize for there (deliberate) out calls on MW3?

Pathetic....

Makes EA look immature beyond belief.
