Well here is something that you just don’t see every day. A build of the 2015 Dead Island 2 has been leaked online and has been making its way around the Internet. Below you will find multiple screenshots from the leaked build. Be aware, this game certainly looks like an unreleased build of a 2015 game.
Below you will find some screenshots from the game. Of course, if/when the game does release, it might look nowhere similar to theses screenshots. As games shift to new developers, the game could get possibly stripped all together and be built from the ground up once again. And again, they look dated because well, they are.

The game has been bouncing around for as long as I can remember. YAGER had been developing the game at first in Unreal Engine 4. Then, it is now reportedly being developed by Dambuster Studios based on a job application they posted for the Dead Island franchise. In mid last year, THQ Nordic mentioned that we would soon be hearing about the game. It has now been over a year and we still haven’t heard a peep about the game.
You know, games that have undergone development hell, rarely pop out and become commercial successes. It is very rare that a game has multiple long delays and ghosts fans for years only to release and actually be a polished product. Just look at Crackdown 3. Hopefully, that is the last time I ever mention that game for quite some time.
