The final expansion for Frostpunk will be released this summer.

Previously known as Project TVADGYCGJR, On the Edge is the third expansion to 11 bit studios’ survival sim Frostpunk.

It’s the final content drop part of the Season Pass and is set after the Great Storm, and finds the expedition set from New London with a special assignment.

The Edge symbolizes a cross between what has been the past and what’s new to come. Although the society of New London — the city believed to be the last one on Earth — has survived, it doesn’t mean the struggle is over. The people face new challenges that are catalysts to spark up divisions, new problems, and conflicts based on the fact that people might have different points of view, different perspectives. This is the Edge that you will face as the leader of the society that survived the great snowstorm of Frostpunk.

While more information and details on the expansion will be provided closer to release, you can expect a brand new story scenario, additional challenges to overcome on a new, desolate map, and unique mechanics to utilize on the Frostland view.

The previous drops part of the pass were The Last Autumn, a prequel story taking place before the endless winter, and The Rifts which features an Endless Mode map.
