Our PES 2012 review is almost ready to run out onto the pitch, although some PES 2012 review scores have already strolled out.

You won't, however, find any words in there on 3D or social networking features.

That's because they don't exist - not until the game gets a day one patch anyway.

The US got the update with the game's launch and you can expect a similarly hefty download when you pop the disc into your PS3 on October 14.

It's worth it though, since it will provide 3DTV support and a new feature to the series called 'myPES'.

The latter is a social networking suite which will arrive in beta form and allow players to share results and other data on Facebook.
